Traded my mud for some Wyoming mud to visit one of my favorite people. My Aunt Lori is one of the most prolific quilters I know. She sews anywhere from 12 to 24 quilts each year. She's an avid gardener and cook and preserves hundreds of jars of everything you can think of. What a beautiful first day of spring. ☀︎ ❀ ☀︎ ❀ Snow day fun with my girl. Tulips are coming up in the greenhouse, don't tell them about all this snow. 😂 It ranges from 10 inches here under the trees to a solid 18 down in the garden! Binding time.... Just popping this little note onto the grid here to share my new IG handle...... ☼ Sweetbrier Made ☼ I've looked at this view countless times while waiting to pick up one of the kids. Farm life with dogs. I was standing in my favorite bookstore @battenkillbooks telling my girls I would never find a book written about truly long fermented sourdough right as Jade picked @gregwadebakes’s book Bread Head off the shelf and flipped to the back cover to read exactly what I wanted as the description. Better yet, I open the table of contents to read lyrics of my favorite songs and say out loud “no way” and flip back to cover to realize the play on words. ✨⚡️
